Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has revealed the reason behind his absence from Kwadwo Nkansah’s (Lil Win) film titled “A Country Called Ghana.
Reports had indicated that Van Vicker declined the opportunity to participate in the movie after being contacted by Lil Win’s team.
Van Vicker’s alleged refusal of the role led Lil Win to cast several Nigerian actors, including Ramsey Nouah, in his film.
However, in a response on Hello FM, Van Vicker refuted these claims.
He clarified that he did not outright reject the opportunity to star in Lil Win’s A Country Called Ghana.
Van Vicker explained that he was open to taking the role but was deterred by what he considered an unreasonable request from the film producer.
When Lil Win approached him, Van Vicker showed interest but was asked to commit an entire month to the film shoot.
Given his academic commitments, Van Vicker found this demand impractical and suggested a ten-day commitment instead.
Lil Win, however, insisted on a full 30 days, and after ongoing negotiations, Van Vicker chose to forgo the role.
Soon after, Lil Win announced that Ramsey Nouah had been cast in the part.
