Jamaican reggae icon Luciano has shown interest in collaborating with Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Stonebwoy.
Luciano, who was impressed by Stonebwoy’s recent performance at the 2024 Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium, praised the artist’s dedication and contributions to the reggae and dancehall scene.
Luciano expressed his admiration, saying, “You are hardworking. I love your work, I want us to work on a collaboration,” as reported by citinewsroom.com.
Stonebwoy’s appearance at the 2024 Reggae Geel Festival was his second time performing at the prestigious European reggae festival, having previously graced the stage in 2016.
This year has been particularly successful for Stonebwoy. In addition to winning ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, he also took home seven additional awards.
He recently graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and has collaborated with notable international artists including Manodzi, Angelique Kidjo, and Nigeria’s Odumodu Blvk.
Stonebwoy is also preparing to release his third single of the year, titled “Pray For Me,” featuring the renowned Wyclef Jean.
