NBA superstar LeBron James has assured everyone that his family is doing well after his son experienced a cardiac arrest.
On Tuesday, James was spotted arriving at Cedar Sinai Hospital, donning a face mask and carrying what appeared to be an iPad.
According to CNN’s report on Wednesday, Bronny, LeBron’s son, had undergone a cardiac screening a few months ago as part of a program for potential NBA players, and the results had shown to be normal.
A spokesperson for the James family confirmed on Tuesday that Bronny had suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice session the previous day.
Thankfully, it seems that his condition is stable, and the family is coping with the situation.
“Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” a James family spokesperson said at the time. “He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.”
In his first statement after the incident, James said all members of the family are healthy.
He also used the opportunity to thank all who prayed for his family during this trying period.
“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love.”
He noted that the family “will have more to say when we’re ready.”
But for now, “I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!”
