Popular Kumawood actor, Lil Win, was charged with dangerous driving and negligently causing harm when he appeared before the Asokore Mampong District Court on Monday, June 3.
He was subsequently granted bail in the sum of GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
Lil Win’s counsel, Margaret Adjei-Twum, argued for bail, stating that the actor had suffered internal bleeding and injuries and needed more time for treatment.
She assured the court that Lil Win, being a well-known person, would not obstruct police inquiries.
The prosecution requested that the accused make himself available whenever needed as the investigation into the matter continues.
The case has been adjourned to June 27, 2024.
Lil Win was arrested on the morning of June 3 shortly after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital on the same day.

According to eyewitnesses, Lil Win was driving at a high speed when his vehicle collided with the victim’s car, causing the accident.
