West Ham United winger Kudus Mohammed has revealed that his debut Premier League goal holds a special place in his heart.
The former Ajax player considers this goal his favourite, emphasising its significance as it opened the door for many more goals to follow.
“The first one is always special. It’s like the key to the lock because it opens everything. So yeah, the first one was really special, and getting a point for the team was also more important. So I’ll go for the first one,” he told the Premier League media.
Kudus made a memorable entrance into the Premier League with a spectacular volley in West Ham’s 2-2 draw against Newcastle United in November 2023.
His goal, alongside Lucas Paqueta’s impressive strikes, earned him the club’s goal of the month accolade.
Since then, Kudus has maintained his form, adding six more goals and five assists in 31 Premier League appearances, bringing his total contribution to 7 goals and 5 assists.
