2023/24 Premier League season has been a showcase of unique celebrations, with West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus’ signature sitting celebration hailed as one of the highlights.
The Premier League’s official social media platform featured a collection of the season’s most memorable celebrations, starting with Christopher Nkunku’s inventive “party trick” following his goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Nkunku’s celebration was marked by him inflating a blue balloon post-scoring at the Amex Stadium.
Adding to the iconic moments was Cole Palmer’s “cold” gesture, which captured the fans’ imagination.
Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ distinctive celebration, where he sits atop the stadium hoarding, was recognized as one of the top nine celebrations of the season, cementing its place in Premier League lore.
Kudus, who was runner-up for West Ham’s Player of the Season, had a remarkable first season in England, netting seven goals and contributing six assists.
He also led the league in successful dribbles for the season.
In total, Kudus has tallied thirteen goals across all competitions for West Ham and earned the distinction of being named the second-best player in the Hammers’ season-end accolades.
