Adansi Asokwa Member of Parliament(MP), Kobina Tahir (K.T) Hammond, has called on his constituents to strongly support New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 elections.
The Trade and Industry Minister, who is running for his seventh term, expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia’s win would secure him a prominent role in the next administration in 2025.
KT Hammond made these remarks while addressing constituents during a campaign event.
He also encouraged voters, particularly those aligned with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to reconsider their voting habits to help ensure his and Bawumia’s success.
“The NDC members here looking at my face like I am a wizard, change your mind and vote for the NPP. Change my mind and vote for Dr Bawumia, so that the NPP will win the 2024 elections, and I will get a big appointment. Those looking at me, I want you all to become members of the NPP by force.
“Change your mind and vote for the NPP so that we win the elections. When he becomes president, he will continue the digitisation agenda, he will bring it your doorstep,” he stated.
K.T. Hammond has served as the Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa for six consecutive terms, covering the 3rd through 8th parliaments.
