The Jospong Group of Companies has announced scholarship packages for over 600 Ghanaian students to pursue their studies at RUDN University in Russia over the next five years.
The scholarships, spanning diverse fields such as Agriculture, Information Technology, Integrated Waste Management, and Climate Change studies, are set to benefit 120 Ghanaian students annually from 2024 to 2029.
The momentous announcement took place in the presence of key dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, and the Russian Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sergei Berdnikov. During the ceremony, the Executive Chairman of Jospong Group, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, expressed his commitment to supporting the scholarship recipients beyond their academic pursuits. “Gone are the days when you finish your education and you stay behind because of a lack of opportunities back home. I want to assure you that Jospong is ready to work with you, so come and let’s develop Ghana together,” he declared.
