The UN Human Rights Office reports that over 50 airstrikes were conducted by the Israeli Air Force across central Gaza, including the Maghazi refugee camp, on Sunday and Monday.

These strikes resulted in the destruction of seven residential buildings in Maghazi, causing an estimated 86 Palestinian deaths and injuring many others.

Additionally, there are reports of people possibly trapped under the rubble. Other UN organizations identified the destroyed houses as belonging to the Qandil, Abu Ahed, Abu Hamida, Abu Rahma, Si-Salem, and al-Nawasra families.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) stated that a hospital in Deir al-Balah treated 209 injured and 131 deceased individuals following the bombings in Maghazi and the adjacent Bureij refugee camp on Sunday night.

Photographic evidence from the scene showed significant damage, including at least one completely destroyed building and four others severely affected.

Maghazi, located in the heart of Gaza, is a smaller refugee camp known for its narrow alleys and high population density.

Spanning just 0.6 sq km, it housed more than 33,000 UN-registered refugees prior to the conflict.
