Isaac Adongo, Clement Apaak, others listed in NDC’s sectoral spokespersons for 2024 manifesto

National Democratic Congress (NDC) has unveiled its team of sectoral spokespersons for the 2024 election campaign, following the launch of their manifesto at the University of Education, Winneba, on August 24.

The economic team will be led by prominent figures including Isaac Adongo, MP for Bolgatanga Central, former Deputy Finance Minister Mona Helen Quartey, and economist Dr. Johnson Asiama.

The education sector will be represented by Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, who serves as the Deputy Ranking Member on the Education Committee, while Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, MP for Juaboso, will take on responsibilities for health policy.

During the manifesto event, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama called on the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration to prepare their exit strategy, citing poor economic management as the reason for their impending removal.

Mahama also pledged to eliminate several controversial taxes within his first 100 days if elected, including the E-levy, COVID levy, a 10% tax on betting winnings, and an emissions levy.

Below is the full list of appointed spokespersons.
