Sexual pleasure turns bitter; Barber in police grips after lover dies during sex

In Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, a barbershop operator is being held by the police for investigation following the death of his girlfriend during sexual intercourse.

The tragic incident occurred at a guest house in the Temidire community, Offa Garage area of Ilorin. The couple had checked into the guest house for a night of fun, but the situation took a tragic turn.

During their sexual encounter, the young woman became exhausted and eventually passed out, failing to respond. Sadly, she passed away.

Upon realising the seriousness of the situation, the man raised the alarm and called the guest house staff to investigate. The unconscious woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The guest house owner reported the incident to the police, and the middle-aged barber was subsequently arrested.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the incident and stated that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death.

In a similar recent incident, a 23-year-old woman, Beth Wanjiku, was arrested in Kenya’s Kajiado County after her 59-year-old boyfriend died in her room during afternoon sex.

The man, Joshua Stephen Muirui, had visited Wanjiku at her rental house, and they had a meal together before mutually agreeing to have sex.

“She prepared meat stew and ugali, which they took for lunch. After eating, he requested that they proceed to the bedroom. At around 4 p.m., as they were making love, he fell unconscious,” a police report said, as quoted by TUKO.co.ke.

Sensing danger, the suspect called her lover’s friend for help to take him to the hospital.

He was rushed to Pona Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
