Despite her health struggles, actress and activist Yvonne Nelson is dedicated to joining the #DumsorMustStop protest scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2024.
The march will kick off at Legon and proceed to Tetteh Quarshie as part of her ongoing campaign against ineffective governance in Ghana.
The goal of this protest is to compel the government to ensure stable power for the population.
Yvonne Nelson has expressed her unwavering determination to participate in the protest route despite her health concerns.
She stated in a tweet that she will walk even if only a few people accompany her, emphasizing her commitment to demand accountability and governance enhancements.
Addressing cyberbullying she’s faced from some Ghanaians, Yvonne Nelson remarked that the personal attacks and insults reveal the attackers’ own unhappiness.
She encouraged people to engage in thoughtful discussions devoid of tribal biases when addressing national matters.
