The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, has urged delegates in the Ayawaso Central Constituency to cast overwhelming votes in his favor during the upcoming NPP primaries.
His plea is rooted in the goal of securing the party’s hold on the seat for the 2024 general elections, where he faces competition from Moses Abor, the former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser of the NPP.
Grateful for the continued trust and support of the delegates, Quartey acknowledged their pivotal role in his political journey. He recounted their past endorsement, emphasizing, “I decided not to contest again but you said I should go. Today, I thank you again. In 2020, you contributed and bought the forms on my behalf, and I went unopposed. Today, I was in the office and saw that you’ve made such an offer again. So today I’m here to say I’m back again.”
Henry Quartey, a three-time Member of Parliament, expressed his appreciation by submitting his nomination form at the Ayawaso Central Constituency office in Alajo. During his address to the delegates, he emphasized the importance of their support, urging them, “When you are voting, vote massively for me.”
