Dr. UN recently made a striking statement regarding his comparison with Sarkodie.
According to him, Sarkodie‘s accomplishments cannot be compared to him due to his academic background, specifically his attainment of a PhD.
“Sarkodie cannot be compared to me. He is a Twi artist and I am a Phd holder. “
Dr. UN emphasized that Sarkodie, being a Twi artist is a flaw.
Furthermore, Dr. UN expressed doubt about Sarkodie’s potential to win Grammy Awards, citing his proficiency primarily in Twi rap.
He argued that Twi rap, unlike English rap, lacks the ability to transcend international boundaries.
“Sarkodie can never win a Grammy Award because he is a Twi rapper. If he switches then yes he can,” Dr. UN stated.
To improve his chances, Dr. UN advised Sarkodie to transition to English rap, suggesting that only then could he be considered for a Grammy.
