The Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has praised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership qualities.
He expressed confidence that Akufo-Addo’s accomplishments in government would be so impressive that powerful nations like the United States and the United Kingdom would want to have him as their leader to stablise the world.
In an interview on Wontumi TV, the outspoken politician envisioned a future where countries would seek Akufo-Addo’s expertise to lead them, citing his transformative policies such as free Senior High School education as examples of his visionary leadership.
“One day a country will come and borrow Akufo-Addo from us to be their president…I wouldn’t be surprised to see London or America coming for him as their president to change and stabilize the whole world,” Chairman Wontumi said.
Chairman Wontumi stated that the end of President Akufo-Addo’s presidency will not mark the end of his influence and impact.
“I know when he hands over to Bawumia as President; it won’t be the end of his story. The courage he had to introduce free SHS is plausible”, he emphasised.
