Acknowledging the resulting controversies, Auntie Naa expressed a preference for handling such matters privately to prevent further issues, particularly in light of recent events.
In a post on X by Oyerepa FM/TV, Auntie Naa said, “I wanted to address it [interview with Yaw Sarpong’s wife] privately.”
After Adwoa Penamang, Yaw Sarpong’s wife, shared her mistreatment and neglect by the family during her husband’s illness with Auntie Naa, criticisms surfaced regarding the necessity of the interview.
She lamented the family’s decision to entrust Yaw Sarpong’s care to Maame Tiwaa, leaving her feeling abandoned.
Some members of the public criticize the interview as unnecessary. They argue it shouldn’t have taken place.
