Queen Mother of Odumna has shared details of why she is demanding the autopsy report of the Late President Atta Mills.
According to her, the autopsy report of all the prominent people who died in their clan has been file in their document.
Unfortunately, that of Atta Mills after several years has still not been handed over to them despite several demands over the past 12 years.
“If you understood me correctly, I mentioned that I would file it. Every notable individual who passed away in our residence has their autopsy report documented in our records. I am the 3rd Queen mother and have predecessors. When I assumed this role, I thoroughly examined everything. So, there is no reason for the autopsy report of Atta Mills to be absent from our records,” she explained to the media.
Meanwhile, the Kyedomhemaa of Ekumfi Asaman, Nana Enyinfua III, has appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for assistance in obtaining the autopsy report that reveals the cause of President John Evans Atta Mills’ death in 2012.
Emphasizing her role as the head of the maternal family, she expressed that neither she nor the state of Ghana possesses information about what led to the demise of their royal family member, who served as the President of Ghana at the time of his passing in 2012.
Nana Enyinfua made this request while leading a delegation from the Oduma Clan of Ekumfi, the maternal family of the late Prof Mills, to express gratitude to the President for renovating the final resting place of the late President Mills at the Jubilee House in Accra on Friday, January 12, 2024.
