I used to be a footballer, played with Thomas Partey – DanceGod Llyod

Popular Ghanaian dancer Dancegod Lloyd recently revealed that he was once a footballer and shared the field with current Black Stars Deputy Captain Thomas Partey.

In an interview with Channel One TV, Dancegod Lloyd recounted his time as a football player, noting that Partey and Moses Odjer were among his teammates.

When asked why he shifted from football to dancing, Dancegod Lloyd explained that he felt it was part of a divine plan.

“Sometimes I question why my football career didn’t take off, but I believe it was God’s will,” he said. “It’s something I still ponder, but ultimately, I trust that this was the path intended for me.”
