Assin Central MP and NPP presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong, has revealed that he makes $800,000 a month from just rent.
The vociferous MP who was speaking on TV3’ NewDay, stated that he is engaged in numerous business ventures and does not depend on government procurement or contracts to generate income.
“I have a lot of businesses in the country. Even with rent alone, I make over $800,000 a month after withholding taxes. So now that I’m not doing any contract, am I not Kennedy Agyapong?” he said.
Among other things, the Assin Central MP absolved himself from blame in the killing of investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
He reiterated that he had no hand in the killing of Mr Suale.
“His own deeds caused his death, not me,” he told the host of the show on Thursday, August 16, 2023.
He described him as a bad guy and said Anas used him.
