I haven’t given up on love – Efia Odo

Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has recently opened up about her views on love and relationships, emphasizing that despite a painful heartbreak, she hasn’t lost faith in love.

In an interview with Accra-based 3FM, Efia shared that while she remains hopeful, she has become more guarded.

She admitted that her intense way of loving can be overwhelming for the wrong person, so she’s now more careful in choosing who to trust with her heart.

“I haven’t given up on love, but I’m taking my time,” she said, explaining that she used to be very open with her emotions but now approaches relationships with greater caution. “Before, I wore my heart on my sleeve. Now, I keep it in my jeans.”

Despite her more cautious outlook, Efia remains optimistic, describing herself as a person who embodies love. However, she noted that her experiences in Ghana have made her more wary of men, saying, “I came to this country full of love and optimism, but the system here can change your way of thinking.”

Efia Odo is determined to stay true to her nature but is now more selective in matters of the heart.
