In an attempt to attract attention on social media, there have been rumors that musician Kwame Yogot and current VGMA Best Rapper Amerado are developing a dispute.
However, Kwame Yogot has vehemently refuted these speculations, asserting that he isn’t inclined towards concocting such schemes.
During an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, based in Cape Coast, he clarified that he has no interest in engaging in rivalries within the music industry.
Kwame Yogot emphasised that he prefers expressing his opinions openly and then focusing on moving forward with his life.
In his own words, he said, “There’s nothing planned in this, and I am aware that you know me, but maybe you don’t know me very much as Kwame Yogot. As for me, I don’t sit with someone behind the scenes to plan certain things like this, and I’m not the kind of person who wants to pretend or fake.”
He continued, “If something is happening that I don’t like, I have to voice it because I can’t arrange to beef someone since I don’t have that time. So it’s not a planned thing, as if I have met and agreed with someone for us to beef because I’m not the kind of person who wants to beef other people.”
These statements from Kwame Yogot came in response to the “Biibi Besi” crooner’s claim that Amerado had allegedly used a sample of his song without obtaining permission.
