I don’t have any bad blood with my ex-husband – Obaapa Christy

Gospel artist Obaapa Christy recently discussed her past relationship with her ex-husband, Pastor Love, in a widely circulated interview.

She credited him with significantly advancing her career, noting that while neither of them could write songs independently, they collaborated closely to develop and refine their music.

“I would say he played a major role in my career. Like me, he can’t write songs, but he would bring ideas, and together we fine-tuned them to produce the songs we created,” she said.

Obaapa Christy also addressed the nature of her current relationship with Pastor Love, acknowledging that despite not having seen him recently, they maintain a respectful and cordial connection due to their shared responsibilities as parents.

She emphasized that their past and the presence of their children ensure they will continue to be a part of each other’s lives.

“I’ve not seen him for a while, but you can ask him, Everywhere I see him, I greet him. There is no bad blood between us. I have children with him and so we will be in each other’s life. There is a lot that happens in life. People have died because of marriage so…” she said.
