Afua Asantewaa has broken her silence regarding her disqualification from the Guinness World Records (GWR), stating that she was unaware of the decision.
She explained that she no longer has access to the account through which she communicated with GWR, hence missing their notifications.
“I will say that there is no way i will hold on to a result such as this. I spoke about the miscommunication with GWR. It has to do with my login account. I don’t have access. So as I sit here I don’t have official documents to even post on m y social media that this is my disqualification letter. I dont have my login account,” Afua indicated.
She mentioned that this could be the reason they GWR went ahead of her to share the nes.
Despite this, Afua Asantewaa expressed regret for not sharing the news with Ghanaians earlier. The revelation sparked intense debate on social media following GWR’s announcement of her disqualification.
While criticism mounted against Asantewaa for allegedly concealing the news, she maintains that she never intended to withhold information from the public.
Still, people aren’t buying her explanations with replies like: “She is being dishonestShe is being dishonest,” one said.
Another added: “She lacks integrity…she is not to be trusted.she took ghanaians who supported her to be fools,”
