With just four months remaining until the December 7 general elections, candidates are ramping up their campaign efforts.
In a bid to win over voters, politicians are engaging in a variety of activities.
Recently, a video shared on the social media platform X by EDHUB features the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson, selling watermelon while dressed in jeans shorts and a red Lacoste shirt. In the video, Koomson is seen with constituents, offering sliced fruit from a pan on her head.
The purpose behind her actions remains unclear, but similar strategies have been employed in the past, such as politicians visiting constituents’ homes to assist with chores like washing and cooking to garner support.
