Former captain to the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan reaffirms his trust in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP), flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to champion innovative policies and provide employable skills opportunities for Ghanaian youth if elected President.
Gyan emphasizes Bawumia’s dedication to supporting Ghanaian youth and urges them to cast their votes for him in the upcoming December 7 Election. However, Gyan, also the Chairman of Bawumia Campaign’s Youth & Sports Committee, warns that he will speak out if Bawumia fails to fulfill his promises to the youth as President.
Speaking in Accra during the “Youth Connect” program, which allowed Bawumia to share his vision with youth from various tertiary institutions, Gyan invites Bawumia to attend the upcoming ‘All Regional Games’ on June 29, 2024, at the Babayara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
This event aims to discover sports talents across various disciplines.
Vice President Bawumia expresses gratitude to Asamoah Gyan for his confidence and assures him of his commitment to fulfilling his promises to the youth if elected.
He highlighted the Akufo-Addo-led Government’s achievements in sports infrastructure, including constructing 150 astroturfs and initiating 10 multi-purpose sports complexes across the country.
Bawumia reaffirms his plan to train one million youth in ICT skills and coding under his administration.
