In a recent conversation with Lexis Bills on Joy FM, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, shared a revelation about his contribution to the creation of several iconic jingles.
The Ga Mantse revealed his past work as a voice-over artist, contributing to the branding of several prominent media outlets and advertising campaigns.
“I used to do voice overs, there was a fine boy at Gama Studios, now TV3, called Bediako. He used to train voice for TV presenters. I had to study voice, and in doing that, I did jingles for Adom FM, Kasapa, Nhyira FM, Ghana Most Beautiful, Ghana Most Strongest, etc,” Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II disclosed.
His voice-over work extended beyond just radio and TV jingles.
The Ga Mantse mentioned that several companies, including IK, invested in his talent by purchasing his voice-over services for extended periods.
“IK bought my voice over for a year, he used to fly me all over the place just to make voice overs and adverts,” he said.

In a now-viral video, the esteemed King showcased his musical talents by playing a selection of his favorite tunes on the piano.
Among the pieces performed was the well-known Christian hymn ‘How Sweet The Name of Jesus Sounds’, alongside other melodies.
