In the heart of Tamale, Chef Faila discovers not just safety but the love of her life amidst intense internal military patrols.

Chef Faila, the Executive Chef, revealed in an exclusive interview with TV3, monitored that her love story unfolded during a military engagement, where she found both protection and her future husband.

Initially, their encounter seemed fleeting and improbable for a reunion.

However, fate intervened when Chef Faila’s uncle informed Captain Reginald Agyei about his daughter, who owned a vulnerable eatery susceptible to armed robberies.

Captain Agyei took it upon himself to investigate, leading him to Chef Faila’s restaurant.

To uncover his true intentions, Chef Faila discreetly disguised herself as a waitress during the early stages of their relationship.

Expressing the importance of genuine love, Chef Faila insisted that her ‘Mr Right’ should appreciate her for who she is, not just her accomplishments.

As their affection for each other deepened, Chef Faila recalled her husband’s persistent invitations to the barracks, which she initially declined, citing a strict boss as her excuse.

However, fate intervened again when her workers exposed her true identity.

Subsequently, Chef Faila became more open to her husband, leading to a blossoming relationship.

Describing the pivotal moment when she knew he was the one, Chef Faila shared that she was moved by Captain Agyei’s tears when he cried over someone attempting to take her away from him.

Touched by the emotional display, Chef Faila’s friends convinced her that she had found a rare gem in her husband.

Convinced by her friends’ endorsement, Chef Faila took the bold step to marry outside her tribe, choosing an Akan man from the Eastern Region.
Their union has since been blessed with a beautiful daughter named Abrefi, in honour of her husband’s grandmother.
