Government releases GHC30 million for NaBCo

Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori Atta, says Government has released GH¢30 million to take care of the initial cost of the Nation Builders Corps Programme (NaBCo).

The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme is a government initiative to address graduate unemployment to solve social problems.

The focus of the initiative will be solving public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection.

Presenting the 2018 mid-year budget review in Parliament Thursday July 19th 2018, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta mentioned that government had released GH¢30 million out of GH¢600 million provided for the program.

“The 2018 Budget provided GH¢600 million for the implementation of NaBCo, out of which GH¢30 million has been released to take care of the initial cost of the programme,” he said.
