Your comments are devoid of insults – Dormaahene lauds ‘respectful’ Bawumia

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, also the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has engaged with the Bono Regional House of Chiefs to seek their counsel and convey his campaign message.

During the meeting, the chiefs and the community warmly received him with smiles and cheers. Addressing the gathering, Dormaahene Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the president of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, commended the Vice President for his statesmanlike approach to politics.

“Dr Bawumia, you’re respectful, intelligent, and more striking is the fact that your utterances are devoid of insults and are decent” he remarked.

The chiefs urged Vice President Dr. Bawumia to accelerate the completion of ongoing projects in the region and fulfill promises made, particularly those included in the current year’s budget.

Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude to the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, solicited their support for the upcoming December elections, and reiterated his commitment to the country’s development.

He outlined his vision and policies for Ghana, particularly highlighting his flat rate tax policy aimed at promoting business success and growth.

As part of his campaign activities, Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President and NPP flagbearer, is conducting phase 2 of his campaign tour in the Bono Region. He has made a practice of meeting with religious leaders in each region he visits, seeking their prayers, guidance, and advice before commencing his campaign activities.
