Former Dreams FC coach Ignatius Osei Fosu explains his departure from club

Former Dreams FC coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu has explained why he exited the club ahead of the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.

The former Eleven Wonders gaffer Osei-Fosu who was part of the local coaches selected for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar parted ways with the Still Believe lads this week.

Before the World Cup break, Osei Fosu managed 2 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeat from eight matches.

The Still Believe lads are currently in the relegation drop, occupying 16th position with 8 points.

Explaining why he has left the club, Osei Fosu said, “I’m leaving Dreams FC due to inconsistency because I left the team to the World Cup, and I will be going to Europe in January to learn more about coaching so I will not be consistent for the club,” he said in an interview.

“We both agreed on it and decided that Zito continue his good job with the club as he was doing when he took over during the World Cup campaign,” he added.

The former Medeama coach is expected to travel to Europe in January for an upgrade of his coaching.

Experienced coach Abdul Karim Zito is expected to take over when the league resumes.
