Firefighters from the Assin Fosu Fire Station successfully prevented a major disaster on Sunday, saving a four-bedroom self-contained house located behind Jomsco Park in Assin Fosu from being completely destroyed by fire.
The fire, which started in the early hours of the morning, caused partial damage to the roof and ceiling of three bedrooms. Several personal belongings were also destroyed in the blaze.
However, thanks to the swift response and effective efforts of the firefighters, the fire was contained before it could spread further.
Remarkably, there were no casualties reported in the incident, and all occupants of the house were safely evacuated.
