Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, is a well-known Nigerian actor and rapper has recently revealed that he had surgery for a knee injury.
On May 10, 2023, the political activist posted on his Instagram page about how he had to have surgery after suffering a knee injury while playing football in 2022.
In a recent interview with Cool FM, Falz asserted that his love of football and participation in other sports were to blame for the injury.
The 32-year-old rapper claimed that he underwent anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery because of the severity of the injury.
According to Falz, he has been playing football since he was a very young age, therefore he couldn’t explain what happened before his knee got broken.
The actor highlighted the fact that it is a common condition among athletes and described the situation as one of the most trying times of his life.
Falz said he was currently undergoing a recovery process that involved rigorous physiotherapy when asked if he would be having any additional surgery.
Falz made a joke of the situation during the interview by making fun of the fact that other players were envious of his excellent striker skills and tried to discredit him and get him kicked off the team.
