On March 17, 2024, the Nima District Police Command apprehended a young man identified as Hassan Avorgah, aged 24, on multiple charges including deceiving a public officer, impersonation, and unlawful possession of police accoutrements.
Avorgah had been masquerading as a policeman.
Suspicions arose when Avorgah attempted to detain an individual and deliver them to the Holy Garden Police Station, yet failed to provide accurate credentials as a law enforcement officer.
Further investigation led to his arrest.
