Dancehall star Shatta Wale has ignited controversy with his strong rebuttal to the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) after they demanded an apology for his recent comments mocking Stonebwoy‘s disability.
In a fiery response captured on video, Shatta Wale dismissed the association’s demand, declaring, “You can’t create a problem for me; I am a problem myself.”
He went on to criticise the concept of associations for various groups, including the unemployed.
The GSPD had previously warned Shatta Wale to refrain from ridiculing Stonebwoy, especially after a public incident at Sallah Fest where Shatta Wale targeted Stonebwoy’s absence and manner of walking.
Despite criticism from fans and the disabled community, Shatta Wale shows no signs of backing down, refusing to apologize or remove the contentious video from his social media.
