Before leaving, the singer addressed his disappointed fans, offering sincere apologies and assuring them that he would reschedule the show in Atlanta.
Voicing his grievances, Rema conveyed his disappointment in the show organizers, accusing them of showing disrespect not only towards him as an artist but also towards the entire Afrobeats genre. “We don’t move like this; Afrobeats is way too big to move like this. I don’t take no rubbish and I respect my fans.
“I’m going to reschedule this show [because] they have disrespected me and disrespected Afrobeats by treating you guys like this. I love you,” he said.
