Joseph Matthew, an Afro-Gospel sensation, is redefining worship with his innovative approach.
In a recent interview with JoyNews, he emphasized that worshiping God doesn’t adhere to a single method.
“I am introducing freedom and versatility to the Gospel music scene,” Matthew explained.
“Worship should be about connecting with God in spirit and truth, not conforming to specific rules or appearances.”
Known for blending traditional gospel with contemporary Afrobeat, Matthew’s latest single, “Fear No Evil,” is already garnering praise as a potential Song of the Year.
The track features dynamic Afrobeat rhythms, soulful vocals, and standout rap elements, all crafted by producer Francis Osei to convey a powerful message of faith and courage.
Matthew’s forthcoming album, “Solid Rock,” set for release next year, will include “Fear No Evil” and other popular tracks such as “Hallelujah,” “Not Alone,” “My Story,” “Nyame Ye,” “The Name,” “Blessed,” and “Promise Land.”
