Entertainment critic and former artiste manager of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Emmanuel Barnes, widely known in the industry as Mr.Logic, appears dissatisfied with rapper Medikal’s announcement that he was single during his concert at O2 Arena.
Though Medikal confirmed that his union with Fella Makafui has ended, it is yet to be confirmed by his wife.
Mr Logic believes Medikal’s public announcement at such a huge event of his being single was ridicule and disrespect to his wife, who is back home here in Ghana.
“That’s the only bit I wasn’t comfortable with. Sister Derby is Medikal’s ex and she used the opportunity to grind Medikal to hurt Fella, who is in the house.
He said he was single, and I wish he wouldn’t have said that because that to me felt like an insult to Fella. More like a bit of a tease to his ex-wife.
I don’t know if they have indeed divorced we don’t know the head and tail of it but where he stood to announce this is serious and it appears they have indeed broken up. I wish he wouldn’t have said that,” he opined during an appearance on United Showbiz on UTV on Saturday, May 4.
On his part, broken marriages stand the chance of being repaired even after decades of separation; hence, Medikal shouldn’t have made that announcement when he had the whole world watching him.
“With marriage, anything can happen. You can break up and come back together after a decade so I wish he wouldn’t have said that ” he added.
