Okyeame Kwame pushes for collaboration between King Paluta and Daddy Lumba

Ghanaian artist Okyeame Kwame has started an online campaign to encourage a collaboration between Daddy Lumba and King Paluta on King Paluta’s latest single, “For the Popping.”

Sharing his excitement on Facebook, Okyeame Kwame called on fans to lend their support to make this anticipated collaboration a reality.

“All King Paluta fans who would love a collaboration with Daddy Lumba should type DL under this post. I will personally show it to him. Let’s goo!” he wrote.

In a video where he was spotted dancing to “For the Popping” in a swimming pool, Okyeame Kwame added, “Daddy Lumba, you have to remix this song. It fits perfectly within your lane.”

Okyeame Kwame wants Daddy Lumba to collaborate with King Paluta

King Paluta’s newest release is a vibrant party track that creatively blends contemporary beats with the classic feel of Burger Highlife. This genre, which he explored previously with the track “Makoma,” shows his continued homage to the highlife legend Daddy Lumba.

Paluta’s performances often nod to Lumba’s style, from the trademark ‘Aben Wo Ha’ shoulder dance to staging with enthusiastic crowds, both staples of Lumba’s golden era.

A collaboration between King Paluta and Daddy Lumba could further enhance Paluta’s reach and present new industry pathways.
