Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has made headlines with his movie A Country Called Ghana.
Released in May 2024, this film, directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and produced by LilWin, boasts a diverse cast including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu.
At the 2024 Imo International Film Festival, the film has been recognized with 11 nominations, spanning categories such as Best Screenplay and Best Actor (Male) for Ramsey Nouah.
LilWin himself is a contender for Best Supporting Actor, competing against Kanayo O. Kanayo.
Additionally, A Country Called Ghana has been nominated for ‘Black Star Movie of the Year’ at the 2024 Black Star International Film Festival.
The film has garnered significant attention, securing a cinema distribution deal and earning nods at film festivals in Germany and New Zealand.
It is also slated for a feature at the Nollywood Film Festival.
