On a recent episode of United Showbiz on UTV, tensions flared as actor and producer LilWin sparred verbally with artiste manager Mr. Logic about the state of the movie industry.
The exchange escalated when LilWin criticized government support for the industry and accused Mr. Logic of lacking understanding despite his critical stance.
During the heated discussion, LilWin lamented the industry’s neglect by leaders, stating, “Our leaders have neglected the movie industry to the background. They provide absolutely no support at all. So, they are all watching the industry collapse. Mr. Logic over here does not know the industry, he knows nothing about the industry.”
In response, Mr. Logic challenged LilWin’s knowledge and experience in movie production, questioning his casting and production history.
This exchange stemmed from Mr. Logic’s previous criticism of LilWin’s movie “A Country called Ghana,” where he questioned LilWin’s decision to feature Nigerian actors instead of local talent.
The confrontation took a legal turn when Mr. Logic threatened legal action against LilWin, although intervention from prominent figures delayed the serving of court documents.
The clash highlighted ongoing tensions within the entertainment industry regarding support for local talent and criticism of creative decisions.
