Ghanaian Pastor Kingsley Gyamfi, known for his partnership with the late Gracelift Herbal Clinic CEO, Dr. Grace Boadu, shed light on his entrepreneurial ventures alongside his ministry commitments.
Reflecting on his wealth sources, Pastor Gyamfi unveiled his early involvement in the ‘galamsey’ business, starting from his youth.
He recounted how his initial adventure into gold trading evolved into a profitable venture over the years.
“I delved into mining in 2011. On my first visit to a mining site with my uncle, I recognized its potential and decided to stay. Gradually, I began buying and selling gold, starting with modest sums,” he revealed during an interview on The Delay Show, as reported by GhanaWeb.
As time progressed, Pastor Kingsley transitioned from individual gold transactions to brokering deals with Chinese investors entering the mining sector.
He clarified that while initially operating in the informal sector, he has since obtained legal certification to conduct mining activities.
“Presently, I hold a legitimate mining licence, having transitioned from illegal operations to fully compliant practices,” he affirmed.
Pastor Gyamfi’s narrative underscores a journey from informal beginnings to embracing legal standards, marking a significant shift in his mining endeavors.
