Dressing dead bodies earns me GHS43000 per month – Ghanaian TikToker in Belgium

Belgium-based Ghanaian TikToker, Sexy Vida, has revealed that she earns a monthly income of nearly GH¢43,000 Ghana cedis by dressing deceased bodies in Belgium.

After taxes, her take-home pay is around 3,500 euros, which is approximately GH¢43,000. Additionally, she receives children’s benefits of 2,000 euros and personal benefits of 1,000 euros, bringing her total monthly earnings to GH¢86,000.

In a recent interview with ZionFelix, Sexy Vida clarified various myths and misconceptions about her profession, including the belief that dead bodies possess spirits that can scare those who work with them.

She emphasized that there is no factual basis for such notions and invited anyone in Ghana to see for themselves if they had doubts about her work. This interview sheds light on the financial aspects of her unique profession and aims to dispel unfounded beliefs about it.

“I dress dead bodies, I have done this for five years,” Sexy Vida said.

She added “I take 3,500 euros and benefits for my children 2,000. But for that, it depends, because sometimes it is 2,600 or 2,500, and then my (white) mother will also give me 1,000.”

Sexy Vida further explained that her monthly earnings can sometimes include additional allowances like shopping cheques, and the value of these cheques may vary depending on the number of working days in the month.

She reiterated that the myths and fears surrounding her profession are largely based on an individual’s mindset and beliefs. If one has a good heart and the right perspective, there is no need to be afraid or superstitious about the work.
