Nigerian comedian Woli Arole has voiced a strong opinion against Christians who frequently criticize the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show.
The latest season, which premiered on July 28, 2024, has faced backlash from some social media users.
In response, Woli Arole used Instagram to challenge those who label the show as “ungodly.” He suggested that rather than criticizing existing shows, the Christian community should focus on producing their own “godly” reality TV programs.
Arole emphasized that if people want to influence how others behave, they should support such projects financially.
He pointed out that there are wealthy Christian individuals who could invest in these initiatives.
This season of BBNaija introduces a new twist with 28 contestants entering the house in pairs, including friends, family members, and romantic partners.
The show will span 13 weeks, with the winner receiving a grand prize of ₦100 million and an SUV.
