Accra came to a standstill on Sunday, June 9, 2024, as Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II visited the Ga State at the invitation of Ga Mantse Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
A special durbar was held at the Ga Mantse’s Palace in honor of the Asantehene, drawing several dignitaries who came to pay homage to the two traditional rulers.
Among the attendees were members of the East Legon Executive Club, one of Ghana’s most exclusive associations comprising many of the country’s most successful and wealthy business tycoons. They made a grand entrance at the event, arriving in a convoy of luxurious cars.
A video seen by GhanaWeb showcases a lineup of several classy automobiles driven by the club members to the event. The impressive array of vehicles included various editions of the Mercedes G-Class (G-Wagon) series, several Rolls Royce cars, a Bugatti Veyron, a Cadillac Escalade, and other Mercedes models.
Led by Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, owner of Despite Media Group and Companies, the club members paid their respects to both the Asantehene and the Ga Mantse during the durbar.
