Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor’s father, Dennis Graham, has been granted entry into Canada for the first time in over 15 years.
Drake expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking everyone who assisted in making their reunion possible.
In an interview with The Fader, Dennis reminisced about road trips with Drake from Toronto to Memphis during the summers, starting when Drake was just five years old.
These journeys continued until Drake turned 17, with the last trip standing out as his son took the wheel.
Despite Drake being 37 years old now, his father had been unable to visit him in Canada for the past 15 years, presumably due to legal issues.
Dennis praised Drake’s latest album, “For All the Dogs,” describing it as some of the best music he has heard from his son.
Drake responded with gratitude, saying, “Thanks Dad… I was so happy you loved it.”
Known for his playful antics, Dennis Graham once gifted Drake a comically large bra on stage during the final night of the ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’ in Inglewood.
Drake has been credited with popularizing singing and R&B sensibilities in hip hop artists.
Each of Drake’s albums has topped the US Billboard 200 and Canadian Albums Chart.
Drake released his latest album “For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition” , a reissue of Canadian rapper Drake’s eighth studio album For All the Dogs (2023).
It was released on November 17, 2023, through OVO Sound and Republic Records.
It contains six tracks and is a continuation of his second and fourth extended plays, Scary Hours (2018) and Scary Hours 2 (2021), with the new tracks being appended to For All the Dogs on digital platforms.
