Dortmund boss Edin Terzic has disclosed Ghanaian winger Ansgar Knauff will return to the club after loan spell with Frankfurt.
The enterprising winger was loaned out by Dortmund to Frankfurt for 18 months in January 2022, with his deal expected to expire at the end of the season.
According to the trainer, the plan is for Ansgar Knauff to return to the club in the summer after impressing on loan with Frankfurt.
“I’ve known Ansgar for a very long time. He’s developed really well.” Because he didn’t get the minutes “that were important for his development” in the months that followed, the loan deal came about, which all three sides are likely to rate as successful today”
“He’s our player, he’s under contract with us. The clear plan is for him to come back to us in the summer.”
The German-born Ghanaian is under contract at Dortmund until 2024.
