Gospel artist Brother Sammy has stirred up social media with his recent comments on marriage and parenting.
In a recent interview on NeatFM, the singer shared his perspective that men should prioritize having children over getting married.
He expressed that, although he is married himself, he wouldn’t recommend marriage to others, suggesting that it tends to benefit women more than men.
“Marriage is good but I’d advise people to rather have children, I will never advise someone to get married,” He stated.
Brother Sammy noted that while marriage has its merits, he believes having children is more rewarding.
He pointed out that unlike marital relationships, a child’s love remains constant and supportive, even if a marriage faces difficulties.
He also mentioned that, in his view, even a rebellious child would stand by their parents if the marriage were to falter.
