Big Joe Frazier, a seasoned Hiplife artist, has expressed his disapproval of actor Agya Koo, born Kofi Adu, for attempting to downplay the economic struggles in Ghana by equating them with difficulties faced abroad.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye, Big Joe Frazier criticized Agya Koo for suggesting that hardships are universal and not unique to Ghana.
He emphasized that comparing the situation in Ghana to conditions in other countries is inappropriate.
“Even though challenges exist globally, the situation in Ghana is distinct,” Big Joe Frazier said.
“In other countries, the systems are functional, so while there might be struggles, basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing are generally not a concern. Jobs are available, allowing people to manage their expenses. In contrast, finding employment in Ghana is a major issue.”
Frazier expressed his disappointment with Agya Koo’s perspective, arguing that it fails to acknowledge the unique and severe nature of the struggles faced by Ghanaians.
