Ghanaian rapper Trigmatic, whose real name is Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro-Agyei, recently opened up about his divorce from ex-wife Edith Schandorf during an interview on The Day Show.
He reflected on the challenges he faced, stating that while the experience was tough, it taught him valuable lessons.
Trigmatic acknowledged his own shortcomings, suggesting that both he and Edith contributed to their separation.
“It’s not just one-sided; I recognize my flaws. Things could have been better,” he admitted. He described his post-divorce life as a significant learning experience, emphasizing that he wouldn’t wish such a situation on anyone.
“It was hard, but it brought me closer to my faith and made me value my family even more. While it wasn’t a positive experience, perhaps it was necessary for my growth,” he shared on September 22.
When host Berla Mundi asked if he wished to still be married to Edith, he replied affirmatively, saying, “Yes, why not? She’s a wonderful person.” Trigmatic and Edith tied the knot on March 25, 2017, and although their marriage faced difficulties, he once celebrated their third anniversary on Instagram in 2020.
