Ghanaian gospel artist Diana Asamoah has leveled accusations against her junior pastor, Rev. Eric Kwame Asante, alleging that he stole Gh4000.00 from her Mobile Money wallet.
According to the gospel singer, the incident occurred while the victim was monitoring her transactions, during which the accused purportedly captured her pin code.
Subsequently, he allegedly withdrew GHS4,000.00 from her account without her knowledge.
However, she claims to have been aided by the Holy Spirit in exposing him.
Diana Asamoah went on a live session on TikTok to affirm the situation as its already circulating on social media.
“Greetings to all Ghanaians, I trust you are well. You may have come across a circulating video on my status and TikTok regarding my own Pastor, Rev. Eric Kwame Asante. I often translate his sermons from English to Twi, as he is my Bible reader and is known for speaking in tongues fervently. In my absence, he frequently assumes my role. This is not the first or second time he is misbehaving. However, he typically humbles himself and seeks forgiveness, and I forgive him.
“I am sharing this to caution you all about individuals who come into your life claiming to be men of God. With the assistance of the Holy Spirit and Dr. Digital (referring to Bawumia), it is now impossible to evade detection, no matter how far one goes to commit theft. The individual in question claimed to have seen my pin code or password while I was conducting transactions and proceeded to withdraw GHC4,000.00, allegedly intending to spend it on women. However, the Holy Spirit, who reveals all things, exposed his actions to me.”
“It is important to note that the individual involved is a respected man of God who leads prayer meetings and other activities. I share this not to discredit men of God, as I hold them in high regard, but to emphasize the need for vigilance. Despite his recent claim to have left the CAC church, after numerous conversations, he remains unyielding.”
